An Afternoon of Christmas Delights, featuring soprano soloist Lisanne Norman – Saturday, December 19, 2:30pm

The Symphony of the Southwest invites you to attend our next concert: “An Afternoon of Christmas Delights,” featuring Arizona Soprano Lisanne Norman performing O Holy Night and more of your Christmas favorites. In addition, we’ll be playing all the favorites including Sleigh Ride, the Nutcracker Suite, Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire, Gesu Bambino, White Christmas, and many others. Our holiday concert is an event that the entire family will enjoy. Symphony of the Southwest performs timeless, light-classical music and our popular Christmas carol sing-a-long in a visual Christmas wonderland including an appearance by Santa Claus himself. The Symphony of the Southwest will be joined side by side with the Youth Symphony of the Southwest.

Our featured soprano soloist, Lisanne Norman, has been described as, “A voice with limitless power and faultless technique.” She has performed with Arizona Opera, Phoenix Metropolitan Opera, Utah Festival Opera, and the Prague Radio Symphony Chamber Orchestra. To listen to this marvelous voice, visit her website at http://www.lisannenorman.com/lisannerecordings.html

This concert will be performed Saturday, December 19 at the Mesa Arts Center Ikeda Theater – 2:30 P.M. General admission tickets are $17 and can be purchased at the Mesa Arts Center Box Office 480-644-6500, or purchase online at their online box office.
