Join us this Saturday, November 21 at 2:30pm in the Ikeda Theater at Mesa Arts Center for “Tubby the Tuba & Friends.” This special concert is especially programmed for children, and features acclaimed pianists Walter Cosand and Robert Hamilton, and the Honorable Scott Smith, Mayor of Mesa, as narrator.
The program features the Youth Symphony of the Southwest performing Debussy’s “Children’s Corner” and the March from “Babes in Toyland.” Then, the Symphony of the Southwest will perform “Tubby the Tuba” and Saint-Saens’s “Carnival of the Animals.” Don’t miss this special concert – bring the whole family!
