What Are Your Office Hours?

Monday through Thursday 10AM-Noon. Because we are run by part-time volunteers, it’s always a good idea to call our office in advance at 480.827.2143.

How Long Does Your Season Last?

Our season is October through May.

How Do I Buy Tickets?

Tickets are available through concert venue box office either in person, online or by phone. We do not sell tickets through our office nor is Ticketmaster a box office representative. For more concert info click here.

Does Your Office Sell Tickets?

Only if noted on the concert or special event. See above FAQ.

How Do I Volunteer?

For more information on our current volunteer needs and how to inquire, please see our volunteer page.

Is My Donation Tax-Deductible?

Symphony of the Southwest is a registered 501(c)(3) in good standing, and donations and V.I.P. Memberships are tax deductible. For clarity on the extent of your donation to SSW, please consult your tax advisor.

Are Kids Allowed At Concerts?

Yes.  Symphony of the Southwest is an orchestra for families and all ages. Many children experience their first classical concerts with us, and we have the testimonies to prove how much they enjoy it. Our 2009-10 season will include concerts especially designed for kids, music education and a lot of interactive fun.

Do You Pay Your Musicians?

Yes. The Symphony of the Southwest is a regional community orchestra on a pay-per-service basis, meaning musicians are compensated for rehearsal and concert participation on a per concert basis.

I’m A Musician. When Do You Hold Auditions?

Auditions are held in August each year depending on section openings. Additional audition info including the list of open positions, audition requirements, and downloadable applications for audititions this August 2009 will be posted on our web site the first week of June.
