Grace Wodarcyk is a 17 year old senior at Hamilton High School, where she serves as the concertmaster for its Chamber Orchestra. She has been playing violin since she was seven, and currently studies with Cathy Worcester, having previously taken lessons from Dana White.  She is a piano student of Dr. Miriam Hickman, who is also her accompanist.

Grace has participated in both the Arizona All-Regional and All-State festivals for the past three years. She has been associate concertmaster of the Youth Symphony of the Southwest, and is an alumna of the Metropolitan Youth Symphony. Grace had the opportunity to travel to China with the American Festival Orchestra in the summer of 2016, where she performed concerts in over eight Chinese cities. Additionally, she has been a part of the pit orchestra in the Chandler Symphony's production of The Nutcracker for the past two years. Grace completed levels eight, nine, and ten of the Arizona String Teachers' Association Certificate Achievement Program for her freshman, sophomore, and junior years respectively. She also has experience in teaching private lessons to young elementary and junior high school students. Her volunteer experiences include performing at nursing homes, United Food Bank events, and Bogle Junior High School concerts. Outside of music, Grace maintains a rigorous school schedule as an AP Scholar and member of the National Honor Society while also working a part-time job.

Grace hopes to study music education in college so she can share her passion with others. She would like to thank all of her current and previous school orchestra teachers, Julie Ivanhoe, Dr. Martin Province, and Dr. Nicholas Ross, for helping her learn and grow as a musician. Grace would like to extend her gratitude towards the Symphony the Southwest and Mr. Cal Kellogg for granting her the opportunity to solo with the orchestra. Lastly, she is grateful for her very loving and supporting family and friends.
